We are a family owned and operated restaurant, catering to our diners as guests in our home. Taking no shortcuts in the process to provide a unique and healthy experience to the Richmond community and its visitors, we strive to present Ethiopian cuisine as it should be; flavorful, authentic, and as true to a home cooked meal as possible.
Our menu offers a wide variety of vegetarian selections, which are also entirely vegan. As such, we've proudly been presenting our guests a delectable alternative for vegetarian/vegan options in Richmond since 2006.

We strictly use a grain flour, teff, for our injera (flat bread), so the entire menu is gluten-free.
This tiny grain is packed with considerable amounts of protein, iron, calcium and fiber.
